Decimalisation, the invention of the
microprocessor, and the birth of the hairy designer
- an important year all round!
Born to hardworking parents in Camberwell, grew up in southeast London. Went to grammar school in Kent, college in London and university in Exeter.
After finishing university I followed a woman (and a job) to the Midlands, were I've been ever since. Got married (to a different woman) 3 years ago and our daughter, Jasmine, was born in April 2007.
Our daughter is one of the reasons for starting a freelance career, it offers me the opportunity for greater working flexibility. Well that's the plan!
Why thehairydesigner.com? Mainly because I'm hairy! A few years back I grew a goatie and my facial hair has been an ongoing project ever since. I think all men should have facial hair for some period of their life - c'mon lads, release the beard!
