Typography is the backbone of our learning and communication. It is often overlooked and taken for granted but where would we be without type? We really cannot escape type; it’s everywhere: on road signs, shampoo bottles, toothpaste, and even on billboard posters, in books and magazines, online … the list is endless, and the possibilities equally so.

Back Up The Wall

Today I went back for another session at Vertical Limit. This time I went with Andy and another climbing virgin Simon. The 3 of us met at an antenatal class run by the NCT about 2 years ago.
Had an excellent time and Si got on great too. I found out after we’d finished that Si is afraid of heights, so extra congrats to him. After watch Si get up some of the climbs that I couldn’t manage...
1st Haircut

Jasmine had her first haircut today at the hairdressers where both her mum and I go – Kylie@Rivers.
The cut was done by Becky who has been cutting our hair for years, she did Kimberley’s hair for the wedding (and that was ages ago, or that what it feels like).
The salon is located inside Droitwich Leisure Centre, lovely people reasonable prices. A complete bonus too, Kylie gave Jasmine...Snow Fun for Jasmine

This morning Jasmine had great fun playing in the snow. She was a little unsure at first but loved crunching it under her boots and having the cold snow fall on her face. She didn’t want to touch it though, far too cold. It would probably have helped if I’d thought to put her gloves on…oops!
Jasmine also watched in amazement as I rolled 2 big balls of snow to use when building her...Google @ Work Course
