Organise Your Portable Media Devices

September 30, 2009 by:

Do you have one or more Potable Media Devices, for example a mobile phone, iPod or PSP? Do you have different computer programmes to manage each device? Well now you can manage all these devices from one software application.

If you are familiar with the iTunes software then the doubleTwist application will already have a familiar layout and feel as they have based their interface design on the hugely successful iTunes app. Here’s a screen shot for you.

doubleTwist supports hundreds of media devices, from Blackberry and G1 to the PSP to find out more click here.

You can also easily share digital media via the doubleTwist application. Watch the overview video for a short demo of the application, this is the Windows demo but I’m sure the Mac version is much the same.

I haven’t had chance to try the software yet but it sounds like a great way to help organise you digital life. I’ll be trying it out in the next few days when work calms down a bit. I’ll try to post a response soon to let you know how I’ve got on with it and if I’ve found any issues. To find out more about doubleTwist and and the free download click here or on the doubleTwist logo at the top of the article.

NB. doubleTwist only works on the following platforms Windows XP, Vista and Mac OS X 10.5 so I may have to update my operating system before I can post a review of the application, since I run Mac OS 10.4.

Happy Twisting. Bookmark and Share
